Quick-take: This was a lot of pages just to say "Don't sweat the small stuff."
There was nothing remarkable here.
The only particularly interesting story was about how Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica. He went on to found the very successful band "Megadeth". Yet, despite that band's major success, he still holds some Metallica resentment. He is incapable of simply enjoying his own immense success. That was a neat read.
Anyway, the book was crammed full of swear words. Many in rapid succession. Swear do not bother me in the least. I actually enjoy cursing when it fits the story. My problem is just simply dropping an F bomb is not entertaining by itself. I am older than 14.
I am trying to think really hard if I actually learned anything. Yes, overall, it was an entertaining book. I got through it in 1 read. However, if I wanted pure entertainment, I would've stuck to my Sci-Fi books.
